Overseas Student Exchange Program
Academic and cultural exchanges are key drivers for students to advance their studies beyond the classroom. Over the years, we have been actively promoting "flip learning" at the University. Using "The World is our Classroom" as the common theme, we have led exchange student tour groups during the summer and winter breaks to the University of Cambridge (UK), University of the West (USA), Nantien Institute (Australia), and Guang Ming College (The Philippines). We have also continued to initiate collaborative programs across all disciplines with universities in China, Japan, Korea, and countries in southeast Asia. Students from the College of Management, and departments of Life-and-Death Studies, Early Childhood Education, Communications, International Affairs and Business, and Natural Biotechnology have completed internship and volunteer programs abroad. Every year, over 600 students (12%) at the University take part in exchange programs abroad. The University's guiding endeavor is to cultivate students to seek knowledge and enjoy learning by experiencing, interacting, and engaging with different cultures and people. These programs have no doubt broaden their work opportunities and expanded their outlook on the world.
